| Empowering organizations, business's and individuals to join
in and steward their immediate areas. Stepping up and
becoming part of the solution and committing to not adding to
the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Beach and community
cleanup days really help, but Just One Block focuses on
getting people out there daily. Through education, organizing
and hard work we can all leave only footprints for our further
generation. Giving back by leading by example and taking
charge.

Mission statement ---We are committed to stopping plastic and
trash from getting into our oceans and waterways,by cleaning
the streets and areas "daily" which feed contaminants into our
water. Coastal cleanup day and Earth day are great but only
one day a year. Just 1Block focuses this attention everyday.
For example, in New Monterey only, we picked up 189lbs of
plastics and recycling, headed directly into the bay, in just 19
Days.
Since 1/4/2010 we have picked up 496lbs of recycling and
trash collectively.

| Garbage build up is a daily and sometimes dependent on
where you are, a hourly occurrence. For example, in 2 months,
in New Monterey California.
Just One Block collected over 500lbs of trash and recyclables
from a few block radius. While picking and less straws, bottle
caps, plastics bottles and many other types of plastics off of
streets and specifically out of the storm drains , we realized we
were part of the "Great Pacific Garbage Patch" problem, and
had to do our part to try to keep this debris from the oceans.
Once we started collected we have become almost obsessed,
and really have a hard time believing how filthy thing can get
